Mary Colussi
Mary Colussi is an Australian-American writer. Her debut novel Touch Grass won the 2025 Penguin Literary Prize and was published by Penguin Random House in 2026. A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the National Institute of Dramatic Art, she has worked across entertainment, digital media, and bookselling. She is a screenwriter as well as a novelist, and she's completed residencies at Varuna and Barrett House Studios. Her work explores speculative futures, everyday absurdity, and the horrors (and very occasional joys) of the digital age. She is currently based in Sydney.
