Megalong Creek Estate
Megalong Creek Estate’s mission is to create beautiful Blue Mountains single vineyard wines for people to enjoy whilst taking in the magnificent views of the towering escarpments that surround the beautiful valley. The name Megalong Valley is derived from an Aboriginal word thought to mean 'Valley Under The Rock'.
Established in 2002, Megalong Creek Estate grapes are grown in the Megalong Valley, hand-picked, and transported to Mudgee for wine making. Their wine maker is the third-generation award-winning Jacob Stein of Robert Steins wines. With Viognier, Pinot Grigio, Pinot and Shiraz wines, their range also features a sparkling they’ve named 'Prozzante', a lightly-sparked Prosecco style wine, and a late harvest dessert-style wine.
Sit back and soak up the beautiful escarpment views whilst the younger family members can feed the alpacas and take a run around the paddock. A well-kept secret, this is a must-try attraction when exploring the Blue Mountains.
