Fondly called the ‘book whisperer’ by our writers in residence, Dr Carol Major is one of Varuna’s most experienced writing mentors. As a special festival event, Varuna offers you the opportunity to have a one-on-one 30-minute consultation with Carol. Bring along a page of writing from your current project, and Carol will help you clarify the vision at the heart of your project and marry this with aspects of craft. Each minute with the book whisperer is gold dust for both aspiring and established authors.
