Robert Watkins is the Publishing Director of Ultimo Press and Chair of Sydney Writers’ Festival. For the past 30 years Robert has worked in Australian books and publishing, with stints in book retail and retail management, across sales, marketing and publicity.

Alexandra Christie is a literary agent at Curtis Brown. A passionate advocate for her authors, she is an omnivorous reader of fiction and nonfiction drawn to distinctive voices with an underlying intelligence, a precise eye for detail, and a sense of curiosity.

Jenny Mosher is the founder and former owner of IndieMosh Self Publishing for Australian authors, which between 2009 and 2023 helped more than 350 authors self-publish more than 650 titles.

Anna Thwaites is the editor of HEAT magazine, where she commissions and develops work from new and established writers around the world. Previously, she was a book editor at Scribe Publications and freelanced for many of Australia's independent publishers.

James Jiang edits the Sydney Review of Books, based in the Writing and Society Research Centre at Western Sydney University. He has previously worked as an editor at Griffith Review and Australian Book Review
